Who Are We?
We are Jason and Janette Good, a married couple with two fantastic children, Jarrod and Jasmine. (Yes, all our names start with J). We both love nature and gardening, having spent the last 21 years developing our garden. This is the third garden Janette has designed, and when we first met, she passed on the gardening bug to Jason.
Janette is a professional photographer (that’s why all the photos are so good), musician, artist, a former nurse, and now works in a garden centre (www.stonemans.com.au ).
Jason has an executive career, but gardening is his true passion, and he is a qualified Permaculture Designer.
We are both very active in the community, hosting fundraisers for charity in our garden, playing in concert bands and sitting on boards of non-profit organisations. Between us, we have 50 years of gardening experience.
Through this website's content, we want to share what we have learned about home gardening to help you develop the garden of your dreams.
Our current garden and home is called Apple Blossom Farm, a name that embodies the history of our property. Located in the heart of Collinsvale, TAS, we open by appointment for garden tours, private events and small catering groups.
We also love animals!
We share our home with the three cats called Jaylyn, Joy and Josie and goergous border collie called Jakki. A myriad of birds in our aviary. A flock of chickens and muscovies. Banjo the black minature pony and his friend barbara the sheep. Oh and few goldfish in our ponds.
